About the Role

• We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of Web and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in UI/UX, Functional and API testing, along with advanced debugging skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and UI/UX testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Conduct API testing and validate request/response, status codes, data integrity, and error handling.
• Use advanced debugging techniques to identify, analyze, and report root causes of defects.
• Log, track, and manage defects in tools such as Jira, and work with developers until closure.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to review requirements and user stories.
• Prepare and share QA test reports, metrics, and release sign-offs.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving QA processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in web and mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
• Hands-on expertise in functional testing and UI/UX testing.
• Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Advanced debugging skills, including log analysis and use of browser developer tools and network inspection.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to test automation (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
