You will play a key role in driving operational excellence through automation, supporting platform stability, and contributing to the adoption of new technologies while ensuring compliance with internal standards and operational requirements.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Linux environments, primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration, including performance tuning, kernel parameter optimization, logical volume management, and multipathing.
- Experience with UNIX platforms such as Solaris and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) is an advantage.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Shell, Python, or Perl.
- Solid experience with Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster Server.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix.
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage administration, filesystem configuration, clustering, and replication technologies.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, load balancers, VIPs, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with high availability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational best practices is considered an advantage.
