As a Senior UNIX Administrator, you’ll work within cross-functional DevOps pods, configuring and delivering Linux (primarily RHEL) and some Solaris environments, while supporting both live and non-live platforms. This role involves implementing automation, streamlining build and support processes, and contributing to infrastructure modernization in a heavily regulated environment.
You’ll be the go-to expert for best practices in Unix/Linux system design and actively shape operational efficiency and resilience.

- 6–10 years’ experience in Linux server administration (primarily RHEL); Solaris (x86/SPARC) is desirable
- Deep technical expertise in Unix fundamentals: volume managers, kernel tuning, multipathing
- Strong scripting and automation skills: Shell, Bash, Python, Perl
- Proficient in Veritas Cluster and Volume Manager (MANDATORY)
- Experience with x86 hardware and virtualized platforms (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V)
- Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS storage configuration, replication, and clustered filesystems
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/UDP, VLAN, firewalls, F5 load balancers)
- Strong exposure to DevOps tooling: CI/CD, configuration management (e.g., Ansible)
- Ability to work in regulated enterprise environments, ideally in financial services
- Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and operational processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Experience driving automation adoption and optimization initiatives at scale
- Certifications in Linux or UNIX system administration
