We are seeking an experienced and hands-on VMware Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and support large-scale VMware Cloud environments and private cloud transformations. You will work closely with architects, platform teams, and security specialists to deliver modern private and hybrid cloud platforms while driving automation, operational excellence, and platform reliability. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building, automating, and operating enterprise cloud platforms while working with cutting-edge VMware and Kubernetes technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- VCF Implementation & Operations: Deploy, configure, and support full-stack VCF environments, including Management and Workload Domains
- Platform Assessment: Assess existing vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments, identify gaps, and contribute to migration and modernization initiatives
- Deployment & Integration: Install and configure SDDC Manager, vCenter, NSX-T, and vDefend components
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages to streamline provisioning and lifecycle management
- Kubernetes Platform Engineering: Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms, including VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS, formerly TKG), supporting modern application workloads
- Networking & Storage: Configure and troubleshoot NSX networking, load balancing, vSAN, and Cloud Native Storage (CNS) integrations
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring and operational tooling, including VCF Operations for Containers
- Hybrid Cloud Integration: Support hybrid cloud deployments across VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution, and Google Cloud VMware Engine
- DevOps Enablement: Integrate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices to improve application delivery and platform automation
- Technical Collaboration: Work with customers, architects, and project teams to deliver successful implementations and provide technical guidance
