Senior web developer / full-stack developer

Summary

Builds and maintains a Next.js/React front-end and GraphQL API for a cultural-commerce platform, integrating payments, membership flows, and CMS-managed content.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong frontend engineering skills and solid API/integration experience. The candidate will work across React/Type Script UI, Next.js App Router and API routes, Apollo Client, server-side Graph QL patterns, authentication flows, payment/webhook integrations, Postgre SQL-backed Graph QL, and cloud deployed environments.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of relevant professional software development experience, with proven production delivery in web applications or portals.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience as accepted by HR policy.

Strong evidence of delivering public-facing or member-facing platforms, ideally in membership, ecommerce, events, ticketing, checkout, cultural, government, or enterprise domains.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic/RTL product experience is a strong advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Redis for session/cache patterns used in wallet, Graph QL, or performance-related caching.

Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Pipeline YAML, and AKS operational troubleshooting.

Hasura admin/metadata workflows, Graph QL gateway security, CORS, Bearer-only security, and role/permission hardening.

Corporate/B2 B membership flows including invites, activation links, bulk onboarding, and organization-level account management.

Apple Wallet / Google Wallet pass generation and related QR/e-card membership flows.

Sonar Qube or equivalent static analysis in CI/CD.

Headless CMS experience such as Directus or Wagtail. This is optional for the user portal, but useful for wider programme properties where CMS-managed pages are involved.

Technical Responsibilities

Production-ready Next.js pages, components, API routes, and integration features aligned with approved requirements and acceptance criteria.

Graph QL queries/mutations, cache handling, BFF proxy logic, auth handling, webhook/payment/document upload integrations, and tested release packages.

Clean code, reusable components, technical notes, configuration documentation, and handover material.

Defect fixes, root-cause analysis, environment troubleshooting, and release-readiness support.

Regular progress updates covering completed work, blockers, integration risks, dependencies, and next actions.
