Senior Windows Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Specialist (over $55K)

Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per month

Job Duties

• Provide support and maintenance for Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.

• Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Windows RDS servers.

• Manage system settings, user access, and security policies using Group Policy (GPO).

• Monitor system availability and performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or NNMi.

• Investigate and resolve system issues and incidents.

• Support system changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth system operations.

• Provide occasional after-office-hours support when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Windows Server environments.

• Strong experience with Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS).

• Familiar with Windows Group Policy (GPO), system hardening, and security settings.

• Experience using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or NNMi.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an IT System Integration (SI) company.

• Experience supporting HKSAR Government IT projects.

• Familiar with ITIL processes such as Incident Management and Change Management.

• Experience using ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy or OpenText SMAX.

• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
