SEO Copywriter
We are seeking an experienced and talented SEO Copywriter to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing compelling and optimized content for our website and other digital platforms. The goal is to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions by creating high-quality content that is both user-friendly and search engine optimized.
What you'll be doing
Research and write compelling copy for websites, blog posts, product descriptions, and other digital content
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience
Ensure all content is optimized for search engines with the use of keywords, meta descriptions, and other on-page optimization techniques
Monitor and analyze the performance of content in terms of organic clicks, keyword rankings, and engagement
Build backlinks and referring domains to increase domain authority
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices and algorithm updates
Write clear and concise copy that is easy to read and understand for the target audience
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
BSc degree in business administration, mass communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field.
Professional proficiency in English. Any other language is a plus.
2+ years of experience in content marketing, content growth and social media channels.
Proven experience as an SEO copywriter or similar role
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Knowledge of SEO best practices and ranking factors such as; topical authority, SILO structure, semantic SEO rules, interlinking and search engine NLP concepts.
Understanding of keyword research and analysis
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Surfer SEO, SEO minion and ChatGPT.
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
