Serenade Utility 3rd Shift
Summary
Perform daily food production tasks including rendering fat, marinating, grading, packing, and maintaining a clean production line in a manufacturing facility.
Tasks
- Daily kitchen set-up and operation include rendering duck fat, packing out rendered duck fat, and marinating product daily.
- Daily record keeping of operations and the ability to use FIFO when handling materials
- Understanding and utilizing appropriate OAW’s, Product Specifications, and BOM’s
- Use tools as designated by management to prepare product or production tasks.
- Tend to assembly lines, performing tasks as needed to support the process flow.
- Grading and inspecting product
- Packing products as directed by management.
- Prepare product for packing and freezing.
- May perform other tasks as determined by the production supervisor
- May need to help with line change overs
- Keep work area clean and general cleanup of production area
- Move pallets & skids; verify counts on pallets & skids

- Speaking- Talking to others in a professional and courteous manner to convey information effectively.
- The ability to operate hand and automatic tools safely and possess good physical dexterity.
- The ability to work with and safely use sharp instruments (knives and scissors).
- The ability to see details at close range.
- The ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using both hands.
- The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- The ability to work in hot, cold and or wet environment.
- The ability to repetitively lift 10-55 lbs.
- Able to work hours required with a set start time; working until the process is complete (no set end time).
Work Activities
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials and manipulating things.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Wear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as hairnet, beard net, gloves, cut gloves, smocks, aprons, boots and ear protection.
