Located inside Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Grand Hyatt DFW offers a dynamic hospitality environment serving business travelers, leisure guests, airline crews, groups, and international travelers. In-Room Dining plays an important role in the overall guest experience by providing convenient, personalized food and beverage service directly to the guest’s room.

The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for accurately preparing, delivering, presenting, and clearing guest orders while providing warm, professional, and discreet service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with culinary, front office, and other hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Review each order for accuracy, presentation, special requests, dietary restrictions, and required condiments or amenities before delivery.
• Set up and present meals according to hotel standards, including proper trays, carts, linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other service items.
• Explain menu items, presentation, and any relevant food or beverage details when appropriate.
• Provide attentive and discreet service while respecting guest privacy and the hotel’s luxury service standards.
• Confirm guest satisfaction and respond to reasonable service requests during delivery.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the In-Room Dining menu, restaurant offerings, beverages, ingredients, allergens, and hotel amenities.
• Process guest checks accurately and follow established payment, room charge, cash handling, and POS procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining carts, trays, service equipment, staging areas, and assigned workspaces.
• Retrieve trays, carts, and service equipment from guest rooms and designated collection areas in a timely manner.
• Monitor order flow and communicate delays, missing items, special requests, or guest concerns to the appropriate team.
• Work closely with culinary colleagues to ensure order accuracy, timing, presentation, and special requests are executed properly.
• Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments to support guest needs and resolve service issues.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, restocking, cleaning, and preparation of the in-room dining operation.
• Maintain appropriate sanitation and food handling practices at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, security, guest privacy, and service standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Perform other Food & Beverage and guest service duties as assigned.
