About the role | Mō te tūranga

Technology plays a critical role in helping Public Trust support New Zealanders through life's most important moments. As a Service Desk Analyst, you'll be the person helping our people stay connected, productive and supported every day.

Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you'll troubleshoot technical issues, support business systems and provide practical solutions that make a real difference across the organisation. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and continuous learning.

The role includes participation in a rostered after-hours on-call service and a minimum of three days onsite each week. The role location is in Wellington.

You'll spend your time:

  • Resolving technical issues and service requests
  • Supporting a range of Microsoft technologies like M365, Entra, AD, SharePoint and business applications
  • Helping improve systems, processes and the overall user experience

About you | Ngā kōrero mōu

You're a natural problem solver who enjoys helping people and finding practical solutions. You can balance technical troubleshooting with great customer service, and you're able to explain complex issues in a way that others can easily understand.

Whether you're already working in a Service Desk environment or have experience supporting technology users in a similar role, you'll bring curiosity, resilience and a genuine desire to keep learning.

You'll enjoy working as part of a team, taking ownership of your work and building strong relationships across the business.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a Service Desk, IT Support or similar technology support role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
