We are seeking zestful individuals to join our unique and fast-paced Service Department. This is a great opportunity to start your career in automotive and familiarize yourself with the entire dealership experience.

In this role, you will assist the service drive as needed. You will be working with our rental vehicles. You will be assisting guests that come in and directing flow of traffic. You will be assisting service advisors, technicians, and the sales department in a variety of ways.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties that are related to organizing the maintenance and service of the rental vehicles.

You will be required to do Chrysler/Toyota training as requested.

Typical Hours and Days

This will be a full time position with hours from 7:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Pay will be hourly.

Duties and Responsibilities

Organize and maintain rental vehicles, contracts, guests.

Assist with service write-ups and tagging customer vehicles

Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer

Inspect the vehicle for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, report any damages immediately

Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed in a friendly and efficient manner.

Perform deliveries as required

Keep customer/employee parking area neat and orderly moving used units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.

Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive if needed.

Maintain building and grounds as needed

Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and suppliers

Adheres to all Dealership policies, procedures and Safety standards.

Assist service with charging/maintaining batteries on the lot.

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

Effective oral communication skills.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Ability to understand and carry out simple one or two step instructions

Must be at least 18 years of age; valid driver's license that meets company standards; will be required to drive company or customer vehicles

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet/or humid conditions, moving vehicles and other moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles; frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; and occasionally is exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
