Service Engineer (Gas Detector / Vacuum / Semiconductor)

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, calibrate, and repair vacuum, leak detection, gas analysis, and pressure measurement equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and perform repairs effectively.

• Conduct functional and performance checks after servicing to ensure equipment reliability.

• Respond to customer service requests and minimize equipment downtime.

• Provide technical support and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.

• Prepare accurate service, maintenance, and calibration reports.

• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on service schedules, spare parts, and follow-up actions.

• Follow all safety, quality, cleanroom, and site requirements.

• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and service processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Experience with vacuum systems, leak detectors, gas analysers, or similar technical equipment.

• Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry, preferably in a cleanroom environment.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Quick learner with good technical and customer communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
