We're looking for a Service Porter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a successful dealership and build a long-term career in the automotive industry. Many of our technicians, advisors, and managers started in entry-level positions just like this one.
The Porter plays a key role in maintaining the appearance and organization of dealership inventory and facilities. This position is responsible for moving vehicles, preparing vehicles for display and delivery, assisting customers and staff, and ensuring the dealership lot remains clean, organized, and professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move and park vehicles safely on dealership property.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of new and used vehicle inventory.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pickups.
- Transport vehicles between dealership locations, service departments, and off-site locations as needed.
- Perform regular lot checks to ensure vehicles are properly displayed and secured.
- Ensure all vehicles are fueled, cleaned, charged (if applicable), and ready for customer demonstrations.
- Install dealer plates, window stickers, and promotional materials as required.
- Assist the sales and service teams with vehicle staging and preparation.
- Keep the showroom, lot, and customer areas clean and presentable.
- Remove snow, ice, debris, and trash from vehicles and dealership grounds when necessary.
- Support dealership events, inventory arrivals, and special projects.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
