The Service Sales Specialist is responsible for driving recurring service revenue growth through the sale of new service agreements, while also managing and expanding Key and Enterprise Accounts if assigned. This role owns the full sales cycle and is expected to actively prospect, develop opportunities, and close business. In addition, this role maintains ownership of assigned accounts to ensure retention, renewal, and continued growth of service offerings.
What you'll do:
Sales & Business Development (70%)
- Generate new business by proactively identifying, prospecting, and closing opportunities for recurring service agreements across assigned Envelop service offerings.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through consistent prospecting, networking, and follow-up.
- Evaluate customer facilities, identify system needs, and develop service agreement solutions aligned with operational and financial goals.
- Partner with operations and technical teams to develop accurate scopes, estimates, and proposals.
- Leverage field technicians and internal teams to identify and convert service opportunities.
- Transition newly sold, non-Key/Enterprise accounts to Client Account Managers to ensure successful long-term execution.
Key & Enterprise Account Management (30%)
- Own the relationship, strategy, and growth of assigned Key Accounts, including full responsibility for customer engagement, service expansion, and renewal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional sales and operational teams to support assigned Enterprise Accounts, contributing to account growth and maintaining alignment across Envelop companies.
- Lead service agreement renewal strategy and execution for all assigned Key and Enterprise Accounts, ensuring continuity of service agreements and alignment with customer needs.
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for expansion, system improvements, and long-term value creation.
- Coordinate internally to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
- Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and contract data within CRM and service platforms.

- Project Sales Teams across Envelop companies (VCS, iQ, PSG, CES, etc.)
- Customers, subcontractors, and vendor partners
Tools & Systems
- ServiceTrade (quoting, service agreement management)
- Salesforce (CRM and pipeline management)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Success Metrics
- Growth of recurring service agreement revenue
- Retention and successful renewal of assigned accounts
- Expansion within Key and Enterprise Accounts
- Development and maintenance of a healthy and active sales pipeline
- Effective collaboration resulting in successful service delivery and customer satisfaction
Territory & Account Responsibility
- Assigned geographic territory for new business development
- Assigned Key Accounts with full ownership of relationship, growth, and renewal
- Assigned Enterprise Accounts with shared ownership across a broader Envelop team, while maintaining responsibility for contribution to growth and renewal
- Account assignments take priority over geographic boundaries
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a technical service, facilities, or building systems environment
- Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role, preferably within HVAC, controls, fire/life safety, security, or related industries
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to develop service solutions within a defined discipline
- Ability to collaborate across multiple business units and disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Competitive mindset with a strong drive to win and grow business
Physical Demands:
- This position requires travel to customer sites, including construction environments, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other facility areas.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and navigate job sites for extended periods.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, laptop, smartphone, and other communication tools.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
- May be required to satisfy requirements imposed by specific projects, customers, or company.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to Service Sales Manager or Vice President of Service, as assigned
