Service Technician

- Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical downhole tools to ensure readiness for field deployment.
- Prepare tools for incoming inspection, cleaning, disassembly, and subsequent reassembly.
- Load and prepare tools for outbound shipments as per operational requirements.
- Generate detailed service reports post-maintenance or repair using systems such as JDE and TAT.
- Interpret tool engineering drawings and conduct precision measurements using various equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Execute receiving and packing duties for all inventory items, ensuring proper documentation and stock updates.
- Assist in tool receiving inspections and coordinate with the inventory team for accurate stock control.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following 5S principles.
- Support ongoing workshop activities and other service-related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets and resolve technical issues.
- GCE 'N' level or ITE Certificate in Mechanical/Technical disciplines (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in downhole tool service is an advantage
- Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and a proactive work ethic
- Team player with strong integrity and commitment to safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic internet and email usage for internal communications and reporting
