Sanco Equipment is hiring a Service Technician for our Mason City location.

As an authorized Bobcat and XCMG dealer, our technicians work on everything from skid-steer loaders and compact excavators to heavy excavators and wheel loaders.

Already an experienced equipment technician? We'd like to talk.

Coming from automotive, diesel truck, agriculture, powersports, or another mechanical field? Your skills may transfer better than you think. We'll provide the equipment-specific training to help you make the move into construction equipment.

What You'll Get

  • $3,000 sign-on bonus
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • No weekends
  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Monthly productivity bonus opportunity
  • Team performance bonus opportunity
  • Annual tool allowance
  • Boot allowance
  • Safety eyewear and PPE allowance
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Bobcat and XCMG manufacturer training
  • Career advancement opportunities

What You'll Work On

You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair compact and heavy construction equipment using manufacturer diagnostic tools, technical resources, and your own mechanical ability.

You'll work with diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, attachments, and other equipment systems.

The work ranges from preventive maintenance and inspections to electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and major repairs.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for technicians who enjoy figuring out why something isn't working and how to fix it.

Previous equipment experience is great, but it doesn't have to be Bobcat or XCMG.

Experience with CAT, John Deere, Case, Komatsu, Volvo, Kubota, Takeuchi, heavy trucks, agriculture, automotive, powersports, or similar mechanical equipment can translate well into this position.

A technical degree is a plus, but real-world mechanical experience matters too.

We're looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, use diagnostic equipment, document repairs, and take pride in doing quality work.

Build Your Career With Sanco Equipment

You'll have access to manufacturer training, diagnostic tools, technical resources, performance incentives, and opportunities to continue advancing your career.

Whether you're an experienced equipment technician looking for a change or a strong mechanic ready to move into construction equipment, we'd like to talk.
