Role & responsibilities

• Author and maintain Discovery patterns, probes and sensors
• Write and maintain Service Mapping scripts
• Build Event Management correlation rules
• Configure and troubleshoot MID Server integrations
• Work directly with infrastructure/network teams to validate discovery accuracy
• Document patterns clearly to support long-term ownership and knowledge transfer

Preferred candidate profile

• CIS-Discovery or CIS-Event Management level scripting ability
• Understanding of network and infrastructure discovery protocols
• Comfortable working with MID Servers and credential-based discovery
• Experience diagnosing CMDB data-quality issues at the scripting level

Desirable

• Direct experience remediating known CMDB data-quality problems
• AIOps/event correlation exposure beyond native ServiceNow tooling
