ServiceNow ITAM SAM Developer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow ITAM SAM Developer to join our dynamic technology team across Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, and Pune.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end ServiceNow SAM modules to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into software entitlements and consumption patterns.

- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITAM workflows to automate the software request, reclamation, and decommissioning processes, ensuring operational efficiency across the enterprise.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party discovery tools and cloud platforms to maintain accurate, up-to-date software inventory data for audit readiness.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the SAM environment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous compliance for global business units.

- Partner with IT leadership to define technical roadmaps and best practices, ensuring the platform evolves alongside changing business needs and licensing models.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying ServiceNow ITAM and SAM solutions, with a deep understanding of software licensing models and compliance frameworks.

- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, maintaining clear communication with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage large datasets and perform root-cause analysis on discovery and reconciliation discrepancies.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a distributed team environment across Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, and Pune.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work model, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage project timelines independently.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of continuous learning in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

- Minimum 5 - 8 years of professional experience in ServiceNow development and IT Asset Management implementation.
