Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Platform Engineer to oversee the engineering, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow environment. In this role, you will keep our platform performant, secure, and reliable while building integrations, supporting upgrades, and driving operational automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Operations & Administration: Administer production and non-production ServiceNow environments, manage user roles/access controls, monitor performance, and resolve platform incidents.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Perform routine patching, platform upgrades, capacity management, and performance optimizations.
Integrations & Automation: Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using Integration Hub, Web APIs, and SSO authentication.
Security & Compliance: Enforce security controls, access policies (ACLs), and support vulnerability remediation and audit compliance.
Scripting & Technical Support: Use scripting languages to build operational tools/automation and provide technical guidance to developers and solution teams.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform administration and engineering.
Core Technical Stack:
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, application configuration, and Integration Hub.
Scripting proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
Hands-on experience with platform upgrades, patching, and performance monitoring.
Sound understanding of security controls, ACLs, SSO, and external authentication methods.
Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
Relevant ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator - CSA, Certified Implementation Specialist - CIS).
