Shaft Pusher


Position Summary:

The Shaft Pusher is responsible for the safe, continuous operation of a die cast machine to consistently produce high quality aluminum parts as measured by specific production targets.

  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hour weekly rotating shifts (Days 7:00am - 5:00pm; Afternoons 5:00pm - 3:00am)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the safe continuous operation of a die cast machine.
  • Ensure consistent quality as it relates to specified production performance targets per hour.
  • Accurate record-keeping/documentation (pre-start safety checks, production, daily scrap, downtime, etc.)
  • Housekeeping of work area; keeping it clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 - 4 years die cast experience preferred.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change.
  • Problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination.
  • Detail oriented.
