Shop Service Technician
Summary: Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, and repair of construction equipment and associated accessories.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
- Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience servicing and maintenance of construction equipment.
