Shopify Developer

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and maintain scalable e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on Shopify development experience, strong coding skills, and the ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable Shopify applications and features.
• Customize Shopify themes, modules, and components to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop custom features and applications using appropriate Shopify development tools and programming technologies.
• Integrate Shopify with external systems and services through APIs.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify root causes and resolve application issues.
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of Shopify applications.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile development environment.
• Contribute to project planning, identify milestones, and raise potential technical risks or resource requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users when necessary.
• Stay updated on Shopify platform developments, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least one year of experience in Shopify development and/or relevant PHP-based development.
• Proven hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify stores, themes, features, or applications.
• Proficiency in Shopify development and the ability to combine low-code solutions with custom programming when needed.
• Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server and an understanding of data modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to develop applications and features independently, from requirements through implementation and testing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
