SINGLE-PLY SUPERINTENDENT
Summary
Management position responsible for assisting production/service operations of the assigned branch. Superintendent (Modified) is accountable for minimizing production/service overhead costs, maintaining equipment and staffing necessary to achieve required capacity, performing all work according to GRSI standards, and providing superior customer support. Most Importantly, the superintendent (Modified) must ensure that all necessary equipment, training, monitoring, and corrective action is done to ensure a safe working environment for all parties at all times and 100% compliance with government rules and regulations. The Superintendent (Modified) is expected to work closely with the Branch Manager, account managers and customer service representatives to understand and meet customer needs and schedule expectations. Responsibilities also include managing, not only company personnel, but also subcontractors required to complete jobs under their responsibility. As a Manager, the Superintendent (Modified) is expected to not only support short-term production/service needs, but also understand, contribute to, and support the long-term strategic direction of Gorman Roofing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Organizational Responsibilities
• Help Manage the use of Lytx for the branch and review safe driving practices
• Maintain a record of those individuals that need coaching and write up conversation confirmers for those coaching moments
• Document those that have a full week of limited safety concerns, so that they can be recognized on a quarterly basis
• Assist in making sure that all employee sign off on the new Fleet Safety Manual checklist in Paycom
• Assist with setting up job folders and ensuring that all necessary information has been included in the job folder.
• Promote core company values of safety, customer service, honesty, integrity, and professionalism
Worker Safety, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Ensure that all necessary equipment, training, monitoring and corrective action is done to ensure a safe working environment for all parties at all times and 100% compliance with government rules and regulations • 100% compliance with OSHA/government regulations • Top priority support for maximizing worker safety • Actively participate in creating programs and procedures to reduce workplace injuries and minimize worker's compensation costs • Enforce procedures and practices to minimize general liability risk • Selection and management of subcontractors to ensure compliance to all GRSI safety standards and minimization of other potential risks
• Hazard and safety assessments performed on all jobs o Risk management plans identifies and implemented for non-safety related risks o Resourced safety/fall plans employed for worker safety hazards
