Site Engineer (Civil / Building)

We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to support the delivery of industrial and commercial building projects in Singapore. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and QAQC team to ensure works are completed safely, to the required quality, within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications and technical clarifications; identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Supervise and monitor site works to ensure timely completion and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, M&E consultants, subcontractors and vendors on construction and installation matters.
• Conduct site inspections with the QAQC team; maintain inspection records for works, materials and completed installations.
• Ensure site operations comply with quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Assist with tracking variations, claims and their cost impact.
• Liaise with consultants and client representatives on site and project matters.
• Support cost-control measures and follow agreed contractual procedures.
• Learn from senior site and project management team members while taking increasing ownership of site coordination.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture/Built Environment, or a related discipline.
• Around 3–5 years' experience in building construction projects, ideally industrial or commercial developments.
• Experience coordinating structural, architectural and M&E works on site is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Comfortable with regular site-based work, including walking and standing for extended periods.
