Site Engineer cum Lifting Engineer

Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise dailyconstruction activities to ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues encountered during construction.
  • Coordinate with Consultants, Subcontractors, and internal departments.
  • Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance,productivity, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, andwork scheduling.
  • Prepare, review, and implement lifting plans for all critical and non-critical lifting operations.
  • Ensure lifting activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Regulations and applicable Codes of Practice.
  • Conduct lifting risk assessments and develop safe work procedures.
  • Review lifting permits and ensure allrequired approvals are obtained before lifting operations.
  • Investigate lifting-related incidents and recommendpreventive actions.
  • Monitor lifting operations on-site andprovide technical guidance where necessary.
  • Maintain lifting records, inspectionreports, certificates, and statutory documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
  • Experience in LTA infrastructure projects will be highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as both Site Engineer and Lifting Engineer.
  • Good knowledge of lifting engineering principles, crane operations, lifting calculations, and lifting equipment.
