Site Reliability Engineer

The Mission

Maintain platform integrity and drive core technical resolution around the clock. In this high-autonomy, 24/7 shift-rotation role, you will provide specialized Level 3 (L3) technical support across applications, cloud infrastructure, and databases—handling deep technical escalations rather than basic user queries. When platform volume is low, you will work directly on active system enhancements and software development, making this a true hybrid engineering and L3 operational support position.

Core Execution Focus

• L3 Escalation & System Reliability: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application bugs, infrastructure bottlenecks, and database anomalies that bypass front-line Customer Experience (CX) teams.

• 24/7 Coverage & Shift Rotation: Maintain primary on-call availability during assigned shifts, covering after-office hours on weekdays (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM / 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM) and rotating 24/7 weekend shifts.

• Application & DB Maintenance: Monitor production environments, execute patch deployments, query database logs, and optimize system performance across multi-cloud infrastructure.

• Continuous Engineering: Utilize low-volume support windows to contribute to active codebase enhancements, feature bug fixes, and continuous delivery pipelines.

• Incident Containment: Rapidly respond to system alerts, author root-cause analysis (RCA) reports, and implement permanent engineering remediations.

What You Bring

• Track Record: 3 to 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, L3 Application Support, DevOps, or Systems Administration.

• Deep L3 Technical Stack:

  • Applications: Solid background in troubleshooting web/mobile backends, APIs, and microservice architectures.

  • Infrastructure/Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), server management, and system monitoring tools.

  • Data & Databases: Strong SQL query optimization, database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL), and data pipeline management.

• Flexible Work Setup: Ability to work remotely during after-office hours and weekends while maintaining continuous readiness and fast response times.

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
