Position Summary
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring on behalf of our client, i8is, in support of their end client, Bank of America, for a Site Reliability Engineer Lead to design and lead reliability engineering across banking and payments. This is a hybrid contract role based in Charlotte, NC, with three days per week onsite.
The SRE Lead establishes SRE standards, automation, and learning practices to improve resilience, reduce incidents, and scale engineering-led operations. The hiring manager has identified payments experience, hands-on SRE experience, Dynatrace, and Splunk as the key needs for this role, and is specifically looking for a genuine Site Reliability Engineering background rather than adjacent experience in production support, L2 support, or DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Leads Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) strategy, automation, reliability by design, and observability.
- Reduces incidents and improves recovery.
- Skilled in resilient engineering, risk control, and scaling operations across complex banking and payments environments.
- Must have experience in all four key pillars of Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule from Charlotte, NC.
Desired Qualifications
- Eight or more years of experience.
- Demonstrates flexibility, navigates ambiguity, and quickly establishes credibility among technical peers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Work Authorization
The pay range for this position is $55.00 to $60.00 per hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This role does not offer visa sponsorship, so candidates must hold work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
