Job Description

  • Report to the Singapore Service Team Manager and work closely with the local service team and regional support teams.

  • Be stationed on-site at customer premises and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and ensure timely execution of Corrective Maintenance (CM).

  • Support a 24/7/365 service operation, requiring flexibility and availability in working hours when necessary.

  • Ensure machine performance meets or exceeds customers’ contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Comply with all company and customer health and safety regulations while performing engineering duties.

  • Provide recommendations to the service management team to improve service quality, system reliability, and overall performance.

  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Apply strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, following technical manuals and documentation accurately.

  • Communicate clearly during shift changes or call handovers, ensuring all relevant background information is properly transferred and documented.

  • Prepare and submit service reports and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain effective stock inventory control, including parts usage, requests, transfers, refurbishments, and stock documentation updates.

  • Ensure designated work areas at customer sites are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with clear desk and safety policies.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and maintain a professional approach when engaging with customers.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with all legal and health and safety requirements.

  • Travel to customer sites to provide service support and coverage as required under contractual obligations or agreed role scope.

    Job Requirements

    • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

    • Formal qualification in Electronics is essential, with knowledge of PC systems and basic programming skills.

    • Completion of supplemental software training courses is an advantage.

    • Proven experience working in a customer-facing environment with demanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

    • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Windows, basic networking, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
