SMB/Mid-Market Account Executive

About the Role
Join the partnerships team at a fintech company building payment infrastructure for the nonprofit sector. You will own nonprofit partner relationships from initial outreach through ongoing account growth.
What You'll Do
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and product demonstrations to contract signing and account expansion.
Balance new business development with supporting and growing existing partnerships.
Maintain a pipeline of active sales conversations and work toward consistent monthly deal closures.
Build warm, trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders and other institutional buyers.
Use personalized outbound approaches, including video messages and sales sequences, to reach prospective partners.
Navigate deal cycles that vary in length and plan for seasonal increases in giving activity.
What We're Looking For
Four to eight years of account executive experience in high-growth companies.
A record of exceeding a $1 million quota selling to small and mid-sized businesses, with both inbound and outbound sales experience.
Experience across startup or growth-stage environments, not exclusively enterprise sales.
Experience managing contracts valued around $30,000 to $100,000 and navigating varied deal cycles.
Background in nonprofit technology, SaaS, or sales to institutional buyers such as universities, healthcare organizations, government, or religious institutions.
Strong relationship-building skills and a welcoming, partnership-oriented sales approach.
Experience with HubSpot and Loom.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $130,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in New York, New York, Monday through Thursday.
