TRUGlobal is hiring a hands-on SAM Tool Configuration and Integration Expert (Snow SLM Specialist) for the customer's enterprise Snow License Manager (SLM) environment, during the SAM Build & Advisory phase. The role covers platform administration, discovery coverage expansion, and upgrade engineering. You will own the technical health of the global SNOW server infrastructure.
Key priorities:
Execute the SNOW SLM platform upgrade
Set up a dedicated staging environment
Close the ~10,000 unmonitored endpoint discovery gap
Integrate and stabilize 12 discovery data feeds
Build the technical ROI case for Flexera One readiness
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Upgrade and Infrastructure
Plan, configure, and execute the technical upgrade of Snow License Manager (SLM) with zero operational disruption.
Build and configure a staging/test environment to validate SNOW releases, Data Update Jobs (DUJ), and discovery scripts before production release.
Maintain at least 99.5% uptime for the global SNOW servers, automated DUJs, and ServiceNow CMDB integration connectors.
2. Agent Deployment and Discovery Coverage
Expand SNOW discovery agent deployment across the ~40,000 endpoint estate to fix "asset blindness" and close the ~10,000 machine gap.
Design and deploy relay agents and proxy servers to collect data from high-secure (HS), restricted-secure (RS), and regional networks.
Work with Workplace Services (WPS) to embed the SNOW discovery client in the standard OS base image for new devices (~200 per day) so new builds do not create gaps.
3. Data Integration, Feeds, and Normalization
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ingestion across 12 discovery sources (including SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, CMDB, and cloud/SaaS feeds), targeting at least 95% feed health.
Use Snow Data Intelligence Service (DIS) to resolve recognition exceptions and reach at least 90% software normalization.
Support REST API and ETL integrations between Snow SLM, ServiceNow IT Service Catalog, and Coupa requisition endpoints for real-time spare entitlement checks and automated packaging triggers.
4. Modernization and Flexera One Roadmap
Support SAM Leadership in building a data-backed business case for Flexera One. Analyze live SNOW inventory gaps for priority publishers (e.g., IBM) and extrapolate risk exposure across the estate.
Identify contract renewal dates for native OEM sub-capacity tools (IBM ILMT, Oracle native metering) to show that decommissioning them funds the Flexera One upgrade.

Experience designing relay/proxy agent architectures for restricted, high-security, and regional network subnets.
Strong SQL query development, data scrubbing, custom normalization rule creation, and technical documentation.
