About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect / Lead Data Engineer to join a strategic data initiative built on Azure and Snowflake. The role focuses on designing secure, scalable data platforms and leading architecture decisions across cloud data environments.
This position is ideal for a senior professional who combines deep technical expertise with architectural thinking and strong data modeling capabilities.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles
- 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake and Azure
- 2+ years of experience in a Snowflake Architect role
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)
- Experience with Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., Cortex AI)
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and Snowflake security and data protection (access control, encryption, auditing)
- Very strong data modeling skills
- Experience conducting Snowflake platform assessments (security, scalability, architecture)
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks
- Consulting or advisory background
- Experience working in large-scale cloud environments
