[SO] Senior Japanese - English Automotive Technical Interpreter - Translator

Summary
This role involves providing consecutive interpretation for automotive technical meetings and translating technical documentation between Japanese and English. The position also requires managing technical specifications within the DOORS system.
Your main responsibility would be:
- Conduct consecutive interpreting in automative technical meetings of project teams and customers in Japanese & English
- Moderate / facilitate the technical meetings of project team and customers
- Translation of technical documents between Japanese and English.
- Import / update the content of specification in various formats (word, excel, pdf, matrix...) into Doors system, manage version, set attribute and layout as per request.
- Other tasks if requested
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Business Administration or relevant subjects.
- Proficient in both Japanese and English speaking and writing skills. (JLPT N2 & IELTS 6.5 or above)
- At least 4 years of Automative / IT / software interpretation experience is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have studied / worked in Japan and have a good understanding of Japanese workplace culture.
