  • To find opportunities to promote animal rights through PETA’s social media platforms in Vietnamese
  • To manage the complex and diverse online marketing projects that promote the organisation’s mission in Vietnam
  • To identify, create, and research possible content for the organisation’s social media platforms

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create marketing and media plans, as well as brainstorming ideas for various celebrity campaigns, video launches, investigations, news conferences, and news releases to reach our target audience
  • Develop and execute strategies to help the organisation’s online content reach our target audience
  • Help generate Vietnamese content for our digital assets, including website articles, online advocacy and pledges, and social media posts
  • Create e-mail content and distribute it to our Vietnamese-speaking members and supporters
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Thorough commitment to and extensive knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills as well as written and oral skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Extensive experience managing social media pages, with proven success in fostering engagement
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional manner
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to a vegan lifestyle strongly preferred
  • Supportive position with respect to PETA’s philosophy and the ability to advocate for our positions on issues in a professional manner
