We’re looking for a Software Developer to join our SW team at Acconeer!
We would like to expand our SW team with a new member here at Acconeer. The SW team works in different areas – from low-level embedded C for control and integration of our radar sensor, to high-level Python tools for showcasing and testing the radar in different ways. We are currently 8 software developers, many with lots of experience, and we’re now looking for someone who is curious, driven, eager to learn, and excited about working hands-on with embedded systems in cutting edge radar technology. An interest in Python is a bonus.
The role also offers opportunities to work closely with customers, understand their needs, and help them get the most out of our radar technology.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that:
- Designs and develops embedded software for our world-leading radar sensors
- Builds and maintains Python-based tools for visualization and test
- Discusses ideas, solves problems, and learns together in an agile environment
You’ll be supported by senior engineers who are happy to guide and teach, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in both embedded C and Python as you contribute to real-world products used across industries—from consumer electronics to industrial automation.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
- An interest in embedded systems and hardware-close programming
- Curiosity, drive, and a genuine desire to learn and contribute to the team
- A collaborative mindset—we value open discussion and shared problem-solving
SW Team Areas:
- Embedded C for radar sensor firmware
- Python for tooling, testing and visualization (our Exploration Tool is open on GitHub)
- Git, Jenkins, and a continuous integration setup to ensure high quality
