Summary
Builds and maintains a capital-markets trading platform using Scala/Java, event sourcing, CQRS, and BDD; writes clean, test-driven code and automates pipelines with Jenkins/Gradle.
Skills :
• Must have skills o Professional experience developing solutions with Scala/Java.
Well versed with both OOPS and Functional programming principles. o Strong development expertise and understanding of event sourcing and CQRS principles.
o Experienced in using design patterns and following best software engineering practices.
o An understanding of fundamental algorithms and ability to optimize the existing code.
o Experience in writing Specification by Example / Feature Files / ATDD / BDD.
o Experience in SDLC automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory and Ansible.
o Follows clean code principles.
o Rigorously adheres to Test Driven Development practices including continual integration.
o Experience of Scrum/Agile methods.
o Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, communication & collaborative working skills.
o Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English to support and shape the platform and clearly articulate technical designs and concepts.
• Nice to have skills o Experience in ReactJS, Elastic Search, Angular JS is an added advantage. o Knowledge of AMPS messaging infrastructure and database/SQL programming is a plus.
o Good understanding of capital markets especially securities trade processing, clearing, settlements is a plus.
o Ability to multi-task and handle multiple requests
o Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
