Summary
Builds and maintains high-performance financial trading systems in Scala/Java using event sourcing and CQRS, with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with 5+ years of experience in Financial Services.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Scala and Java, applying Object-Oriented and Functional Programming principles.
- Design scalable, high-performance solutions using Event Sourcing and CQRS architecture.
- Apply software design patterns, clean coding standards, and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Optimize application performance by analyzing algorithms and improving existing code efficiency.
- Develop automated tests using TDD, BDD, ATDD, and Specification by Example methodologies.
- Utilize Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory, and Ansible for CI/CD and SDLC automation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, Elasticsearch, SQL, or AMPS messaging will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets, including securities trading, clearing, and settlement processes, is preferred.
