Brief Summary: The Software Engineer will design, modernize, and maintain PrecisionCare software solutions. The role focuses on converting a legacy Classic ASP Web Forms application into a modern .NET Core API with an Angular front end, improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
The role involves full-stack development, advanced problem solving, and secure modern web application architecture. The engineer will use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, generate unit tests, support code conversions, and enhance software quality. Responsibilities include following and enforcing secure coding practices, protecting sensitive data, and aligning modernization efforts with industry-standard security frameworks.
Job Specification
Must-have:
- Strong proficiency with .NET, Angular, Progressive Web Applications, and SQL Server
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with system design and architectural decision-making
- Strong experience writing unit tests using modern .NET testing frameworks
- Ability to design testable code and enforce testability across the team
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve development workflows
