Software Developer – Full Stack (Angular, Java, REST APIs) (BBBH12156) Toronto, Canada

Our Government client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in Angular, Java, REST APIs, JavaScript, and SQL. The successful candidate will develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support scalable web applications. Ideal candidate would have previous Government experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Build responsive front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java.
• Design and manage databases and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.
• Participate throughout the SDLC, from requirements through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum processes.

Required Skills

• Strong Angular / AngularJS experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
• Experience developing REST APIs, SOAP services, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with WebLogic, Tomcat, EJB, and Servlets.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of application architecture, design patterns, and full-stack development.
• Experience developing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.

Additional Skills

• Experience with ETL/data pipelines.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
• Experience with mobile application development is an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
