THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and skilled Software Developer to commence with us at Hallett Group. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer you will become an integral part of our high performing Information Technology team and will be supported in an ongoing, permanent role.

This role is ideal for people who are innovative, have an eye for detail, love to learn new technologies and have the desire to design and develop high-quality software and to see the difference that it makes to the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate a genuine commitment to safety by consistently displaying behaviours aligned with safe work practices
• Collaborate with cross – functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues and deliver high quality software on time
• Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Integration of new technologies

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

• Experience or knowledge of with .Net framework and related technologies (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, etc.)
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and related front-end technologies
• Experience with creating and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with database design and management (SQL Server)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
