Software Developer Intern

Role & responsibilities (WhatsApp Only)

• Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js or a similar frontend framework.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js/Express.js, Python/Django/FastAPI, or a comparable stack.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for schema design, queries, and data management.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, authentication systems, and third-party services.
• Convert UI/UX designs and product requirements into clean, reusable frontend components.
• Debug, test, troubleshoot, and optimize application features for performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Assist with application deployment, basic cloud hosting, and maintenance of live environments.
• Identify bugs, propose fixes, and improve application security, usability, and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation for assigned features and development processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; strong freshers with project experience may also apply.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Basic to intermediate backend experience using Node.js/Express.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, client-server architecture, and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Reliable laptop/desktop, stable internet connection, and availability for the agreed working hours.
• At least one academic, personal, freelance, or open-source full-stack project is highly preferred.
