Software Developer / IT Account Manager
Summary
A customer-facing software engineer role in Kuala Lumpur: the person helps key customers set up environments, port and optimize code (e.g., to ARM), and adopt AI and cloud computing solutions. Day-to-day mixes hands-on development in C/C++, Python and Linux with training, debugging and AI model deployment using frameworks like PyTorch and MindSpore.
Role Summary
The Software Engineer will support key customers and partners in setting up environments, porting and optimizing software, and enabling the adoption of AI and cloud computing solutions. The role combines hands-on software development with technical enablement, working closely with customers to resolve deployment issues and support the incubation of computing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Software Porting
Assist key customers in setting up their environments, compiling software, and porting software to target platforms (e.g. ARM).
Promote the use of AI frameworks and pattern adaptation development by partners, and resolve related technical issues.
Code Optimization
Analyze bottlenecks in customer applications and improve performance through code optimization.
Assist customers in conducting performance tests and possess the ability to optimize related software.
Analyze common abnormal issues in customer software, supercomputing platforms, and AI model deployment/operation to ensure normal operation of customer business.
Technical Enablement
Conduct product training for customers to help partners better understand and utilize relevant CPU/NPU technologies and products.
Solution Incubation
Collaborate with partners to design, build, port, and adapt general computing and intelligent computing solutions.
Competency Requirements
Cloud & Computing Knowledge
Certain level of knowledge related to business in the cloud and computing fields.
Hands-on experience in the design, planning, execution, delivery, or operation of related projects.
Understanding of the products, solutions, and business logic in the cloud and computing industry.
Experience in code development and debugging using one or more of the following: C/C++, Fortran, Java, Python, .NET.
Solid foundation in programming, good programming style, and work habits.
Proficient in using the Linux operating system, with experience in software development and debugging in a Linux environment.
AI Software Development
Foundational understanding of AI, including deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.
Practical experience developing AI software; familiar with mainstream AI frameworks such as PyTorch, MindSpore, and PaddlePaddle.
Hands-on experience in model training, precision/performance tuning, and inference deployment.
Clear logical thinking and technical analysis approach.
Proactive and responsible attitude, with excellent team communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Prior experience in software porting, optimization, or AI/cloud solution deployment is preferred.
