Software developer
Summary
Develops and integrates software/hardware systems, performs testing and debugging, and provides maintenance and support for on-site and remote users.
Assist with the creation and review of user and technical documentation
Play an active role in integrating hardware and software where applicable
Perform system integration testing
Do regression tests (re-testing)
Perform system/ Subsystem/component design
Assist in determining the requirement specification for the system/ subsystem/component
Debugging and fault-finding
Provide input for quality assurance (Testing)
Maintenance and support - provide support via email and telephone
On-site or online support for difficult installations, upgrades and problems on request
Position will be based in Stellenbosch, but may require regional and national travel.
Skills and QualificationsMust have a 4 year degree in Computer science (3 years + Honours) or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Must have good planning and organisational skills
