Software Developer (Manual Tester)
Summary
Manual tester who runs test cases, logs defects in Jira, and maintains test docs in Confluence to ensure web and software apps meet quality standards.
We are looking for a Software Developer (Manual Tester) to support software testing activities and ensure application quality. You will work with project teams to execute test cases, report defects, and maintain test documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web and software applications.
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
- Maintain test documents in Confluence.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Work with developers and project teams to resolve issues.
- Support software releases by validating application quality.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
