Software Developer
Responsibilities:
Integrate hardware management to internal runbook application using Redfish API for inventory, RBAC, health check and orchestration of firmware patching
Integrate 3rd party system to runbook to improve efficiency for system administrator
Build tools and APIs that automate operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, maintenance activities, and incident response workflows
Resolve compliance related issues including code upgrade, hardening, patching and performing regression
Develop monitoring, logging, and reporting capabilities to enhance operational visibility and support decision-making.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices for both Python/javascript/HTML
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
Collaborate with other developers and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in Scripting / Web development using framework (E.g. Spring Boot/ Django/ Laravel)
Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with database technologies, querying and normalization (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL).
Proficiency in Python programming
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Exposure to Linux systems and familiarity to commands
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with access policies, building authentication / authorization into APIs, engineering user access management
Software testing - Automated unit testing, integration testing, automating generation of test artefacts
