Software Developer - Payment Solutions (m/f/d)

Alpitronic Americas LLC in Bolzano, Italy, seeks a software engineer to develop and integrate payment-related software for embedded Linux systems. You will adapt solutions to customer needs, write tests, and ensure performance and scalability.

The role requires strong C++, OOP, multithreading and RESTful API experience, plus fluency in English and Italian, with occasional German considered a plus. The team offers a dynamic, high-tech environment and opportunities for growth.

Integrate new payment solutions. Adapt existing payment solutions to customer requirements. Troubleshoot issues related to payment solutions. Write clean, efficient and well-documented code that is easily testable, maintainable and reusable. Write tests to maintain code quality and prevent regressions. Optimise applications for maximum performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve applications and user experience. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, multithreading, memory management, debugging, and performance optimization.
