Software Developer - Payment Solutions (m/f/d)

Alpitronic in Bolzano, Italy, is seeking a software engineer with strong C++ and embedded Linux experience to design and integrate payment solutions for e-mobility projects.

You will adapt existing solutions to customer needs, write tests, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews. Fluency in English with Italian or German as a plus is beneficial.

Integrate and adapt payment solutions for customer requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment solutions. Write clean, efficient, well-documented, testable code; write tests to ensure quality. Optimize applications for performance and scalability; conduct code reviews. Stay updated with technologies and best practices in software development. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. Experience with data structures, algorithms, OOP, multithreading, memory management, debugging and performance optimization. C++ development for embedded Linux systems with SQL databases (MySQL/SQLite). Solid knowledge of payment solutions. Familiar with RESTful APIs, TCP/IP networks and communication protocols. Git or similar VCS; CI/CD knowledge. Independent, analytical thinker with good communication and teamwork skills. Fluent in English plus Italian and/or German is a plus.
