A full-stack software developer role in Petaling Jaya building, enhancing, and maintaining web, mobile, and Windows applications. Day-to-day involves frontend work with Vue.js/React and TypeScript, REST API and backend integration, debugging, testing, deployment, and providing application support.
Salary: RM 4,700 – RM 7,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of web, mobile, and software applications. The role requires a developer who is comfortable working across the frontend, backend, mobile, and application support areas, with the ability to work with existing systems as well as develop new features and solutions.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using modern technologies such as Vue.js, React.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and user-friendly solutions.
Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces across different devices and platforms.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and usability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software, application, integration, and frontend/backend issues.
Maintain and enhance existing software systems and applications.
Participate in software testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Participate in the development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Windows-based applications and utilities.
Provide technical support for software applications, including investigating application errors, configuration issues, compatibility issues, and system-related problems.
About you
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant software development experience.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular.
Experience or knowledge of Flutter/mobile application development.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
Knowledge or experience with Node.js or other backend technologies.
Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
Basic understanding of Linux server environments and web application deployment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
