The Role

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Software Engineer to join the Archer Engineering team. You will work alongside a highly motivated group of developers who thrive on collaboration, open communication, and tackling hard engineering problems. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of software development — refining product requirements, designing features, writing production code, and ensuring customer success. You will report to the Engineering Manager and partner closely with Product Management, UX, and QA.

What You’ll Do

Backend Development

• Build and maintain server-side features in C#/.NET that meet business and customer requirements.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring reliable data exchange across services.

Frontend Development

• Own UI features using JavaScript and React/Angular, delivering responsive, accessible experiences.
• Partner with UX to translate design specifications into polished, production-ready interfaces.

Quality & Testing

• Write comprehensive unit tests for every feature to maintain high code coverage and prevent regressions.
• Drive continuous improvement of development and testing processes across the team.

Collaboration & Process

• Partner with Product Management, UX, and QA throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions to raise the engineering bar.

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

• 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience using C#/.NET.
• 1–2 years of frontend development experience with JavaScript and React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests for new and existing code.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control (GitHub or GitLab).
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Even Better If You Have

• Experience building or consuming RESTful services in a microservices architecture.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure native services with C#/.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX in modern single-page applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across the full stack.
