Silverstone is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to take ownership of our internal technology and AI systems. This is a broad role for someone who can build solutions, automate processes and work with the business to identify where technology can make a real difference.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing and managing Silverstone's internal AI systems, while also supporting the broader technology environment across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable working independently. You'll ideally have experience in software engineering, application development, systems engineering or a similar field, along with a strong interest in AI and automation.
You'll bring:
This role is a Subiaco office based role, permanent, Monday to Friday role. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important area of the business and help shape how Silverstone uses AI and technology as we grow. You'll have the scope to build solutions, improve processes and introduce new technology.

The Role

- Developing and managing internal AI systems and applications
- Identifying practical opportunities to use AI and automation across the business
- Building software solutions, integrations and automated workflows
- Managing APIs, system integrations and data flows
- Establishing appropriate AI governance, security and access controls
- Managing user access, data and system security
- Improving and maintaining internal business systems
- Working with different areas of the business to understand requirements and develop solutions
- Assessing new AI and technology tools and their potential business applications
- Helping establish the technology foundations required to support Silverstone's continued growth

- Experience with AI/LLM technologies and AI-enabled applications

- The ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A practical approach to technology - focused on solving problems and delivering business outcomes
