Software Engineer - Backend .Net

AI Output Verification & Accountability (Required Competency)

The candidate must effectively use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support work outputs such as content, analysis, documentation, or code. They must also demonstrate strong judgment and ownership of the final deliverables. AI‑generated output must never be treated as final without review. The candidate is expected to validate accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and alignment with business requirements, and refine AI‑assisted work to meet the expected quality standards. The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution.

Responsibilities

• Build server‑side web technology stack that provides API for various products and integrations
• Review and validate AI‑generated outputs
• Own final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance
• Critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Develop and enhance backend processing pipeline with evolving needs
• Work with Product Analyst, Web Engineers, and other Front and Back end engineers to provide necessary support building new features
• Secure and ensure the backend stack is scalable, elastic and can support millions of concurrent users
• Perform unit, integration testing of developed modules and systems and participate in weekly bug bash activity
• Perform peer code reviews to improve code quality
• Follow and enforce SCRUM/Agile practices and work with Product Manager, maintaining product and sprint backlog
• Propose and participate in the adoption of new technologies and trends

Essential Skills

• Experience with at least one server‑side technology for developing web application such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring/Spring Boot, NodeJS, or Python
• Experience developing and designing API and middleware for the web
• Hands‑on experience in Visual Studio 2019, SQL Server Management Studio
• Proficient knowledge and in‑depth understanding of underlying frameworks like .NET, Java, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of designing scalable applications
• Skilled in implementing design patterns and logic development
• Strong business acumen, translates objectives into impactful solutions, and effectively leverages AI tools for efficiency
• Proficiency in Claude (mandatory) and familiarity with ChatGPT are required
• Ownership mindset and ability to deliver results independently
• Successful completion of a Claude‑based assessment is required as part of the hiring process

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating an application using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET 5, libraries in .NET and Windows services
• Experience with SignalR, gRPC, or WebSockets
• Experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, or Google PaaS Services
• Experience with system‑level programming such as sockets, multi‑threading, or designing distributed applications
• Experience with video streaming technology or encoders/decoders
• Knowledge of containers, Elastic Search, Dapper, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zipkin, Consul, Zookeeper, Redis, WSL/2, gRPC protocols, mDNS

Required Qualification

• BS/BSc or above in Computer Science
• 0–5+ years experience in backend development
• Can work independently and have a go‑getter attitude
• Good English language verbal and writing communication skills
• Authorized to work legally
